Saying that the prostate is the best-kept secret when it comes to men’s sexual health and pleasure is an understatement.

There is still so much shame and stigma associated with this body part. But enjoying anal stimulation doesn’t make you gay, weird, or perverted. Enjoying and wanting anal stimulation is very common and nothing to be ashamed about.

Our bodies are designed to be activated, and the prostate is simply a potent source of pleasure.

WHAT IS THE PROSTATE?

The prostate is a walnut-sized, semen-storing gland located at the base of the penis, just below the bladder. Its primary biological function is to aid in reproduction. For many, it’s also a provider of immensely pleasurable orgasmic sensations.

This gland secretes prostate fluid, one of the components of semen, and helps with sperm mobility and prolonging the life of the sperm once they leave the penis.

Massaging the prostate releases stagnant semen and gives the prostate a thorough flush. When the prostate doesn’t receive any attention, the semen becomes stagnant in the gland — thus creating a buildup of bacteria, which can cause swelling.

YOUR SEXUAL HEALTH

As a man ages, the prostate can grow larger, which can cause frequent urination due to the pressure it puts on the bladder.

More than a million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Most men undergo unnecessary PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screening and biopsy that often causes more harm than good.

Prostate cancer is over-diagnosed and over-treated.

Too often, out of fear of having cancer, men will follow a doctor’s advice and get their prostate gland removed. What many don’t know is that the removal of their prostate can come with serious complications such as incontinence, impotence, and debilitating pain.

There are two small bundles of nerves that run on either side of the prostate and control your erections. If the nerves are removed or damaged during the surgery, your erections will never be the same.

Nobody wishes to wear a diaper or never to be able to have sex again.

PROSTATE MASSAGE TO THE RESCUE

Regular prostate massage can reduce the risks of prostatitis, prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, and genital pain.

Massaging the prostate stimulates the spontaneous secretion of fluid and clears the prostatic ducts, which may reduce or alleviate symptoms.

The combination of increased circulation and increased seminal fluid production also creates stronger erections.

KEEP YOUR PROSTATE HEALTHY

Before receiving a prostate massage, make sure you are freshly showered. Ideally, you want to have had at least one good bowel movement that day. Anal douching or using an enema isn’t essential; they are merely a matter of personal preference. I prefer using gloves for any anal stimulation. That way, it keeps things very hygienic, and it will prevent any scratching from fingernails.

Start with one finger, then add more if you’d like. Slow and gentle is key; this isn’t about poking or thrusting in and out. Vibrations, tapping, and simply holding the spot are wonderful moves.
